The London Bridge Network is a group of Christians working in the London Bridge area (south of the river), and who seek to support each other in our ministry in the workplace.
The aims of the group are as follows:
- To pray for God’s kingdom to be extended in the London Bridge area.
- To reach our colleagues with the good news of Jesus Christ.
- To encourage each other to be godly and to live for Christ in our workplaces.
We are convinced that God works through the faithful proclamation of his word the Bible, and through prayer.
There are a number of workplace groups (or Christian Unions) in some of the larger firms in the area. The London Bridge Network aims to work alongside, and not instead of, these groups. The Network can support people who do not have a workplace group in their company. It can also put on events such as lunchtime Bible talks that workplace groups would find difficult to do and can encourage mutual support through prayer. The London Bridge Network is made up of Christians from lots of different denominations and styles of church background. It is also supported in a number of ways by St Helens Church, Bishopsgate.
